Carden Cunietti were asked by a young fashion designer to design her 3 bedroom apartment in Chelsea using her favourite palette of colours of lavender, purple, pinks and silvers with a dash of animal prints. These were accented with luxurious finishes such as mother of pearl and silver leaf.

A modern mews house near Harrods was transformed by Carden Cunietti for a banker and his family as a London pied a terre. Materials used were walnut , silk velvets and parchment and much the house had custom designed cabinetry to best use the small spaces.

CC were asked by their North American clients to help design their large family house using elements of mid century furniture and modern elements. The lower ground family room best typifies this with the concrete floors and selection of piece including designs by Charlotte Perriand.

This large house in North London was given the CC design treatment with the design of a custom bookcase with built in seating in the large living room.

A 16th century farmhouse was renovated using a palette of whites, creams, light greys and aqua to give an airy spaciousness to the traditional building.

Carden Cunietti worked with the modern glass extension of this family house in north London using modern pieces with the bright accent of orange.

The clients of this west London house we involved heavily with us on working on a more classical approach which extends into the traditional marble spa bathrooms that were designed by Carden Cunietti.

This property was formally a photographer’s studio and prior to that the gymnasium of a school. The double height space was transformed into the main reception and with 2 separate areas for the office and media room. Many of the pieces in this room were custom designed to fit the large proportions of the space.

Audrey Carden and Eleanora Cunietti met in a London antique fair while both scouting for distinctive pieces for clients.

They established the much-loved Carden Cunietti store in London’s Notting Hill in 1996. Their dramatic, eclectic accessories and interiors fittings from around the world became renowned. They now concentrate full time on their thriving interior design practice in central London.

Together, Audrey and Eleanora and their team of designers have designed numerous personal and harmonious spaces for clients in the UK, Europe and the United States. Their work has been published in numerous magazines around the world including House and Garden, Vogue, and Elle decoration. They are known for their commitment to listening to their client’s wants, needs and desires, designing artfully with an eye for dramatic, luxurious textures and accessories, and seeing all stages of each installation come to fruition.
